In the late
1970s Hano began to develop an art form in which she did much work, virtually
up to her death. She created collages made from human x-ray plates. These
would be cut into pieces and assembled and adhered on to a pane of glass,
before they were hand coloured. The resulting collages look particularly
stunning with back-lighting from either natural or artificial light. Below
is shown a selection of these.
